Dr. Ryan Price

Meet Dr. Ryan Price

Dr. Ryan Price earned his Bachelor's degree from Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas in 2000. While at Sam Houston State, Dr. Price was a three-year letterman on the football team. Upon graduation, he worked at The Cooper Institute for Aerobics Research, where he gained experience in weight management, nutrition, and exercise science. Dr. Price is certified as a Master Fitness Specialist through The Cooper Institute.

Dr. Price attended Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas, where he earned his Doctorate of Chiropractic in May of 2004. He has held associate positions in both a medical office and a chiropractic office. Dr. Price has completed extensive continuing education and clinical work in the care and treatment of athletic injuries and management of physical fitness to become a Certified Chiropractic Sports Practitioner.

As a Certified Chiropractic Sports Practitioner and Active Release Technique Provider, Dr. Price is better able to serve and understand the needs of athletes and active individuals. While manipulation of the spine is a key component of treatment, stabilizing and strengthening the muscles is imperative in achieving peak results.

Dr. Price was first introduced to chiropractic as a young athlete, who was experiencing the wear and tear that can occur to individuals who are involved in athletic activities. On the recommendation of one his coaches, he sought treatment with a chiropractor. He noticed a decrease in pain and improvement in function. Because of the benefits that he experienced due to his chiropractic care while playing football in college and a desire to help others, Dr. Price chose to pursue his Doctorate of Chiropractic.

Bryan Hapka

Dr. Hapka grew up in Wisconsin competing in many sports from an early age but focused mostly on ice hockey and golf.  After initially receiving a college scholarship to play hockey at the U.S. Air Force Academy and then getting injured, Dr. Hapka transferred and finished his hockey and golf career at St. Olaf College in Minnesota where he also received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Exercise Science. While at St. Olaf, Dr. Hapka became interested in a career in sports medicine while working as a student athletic trainer and also as a result of the numerous injuries he endured while playing.

In 2005 Dr. Hapka moved to Dallas to study Chiropractic at Parker University’s College of Chiropractic and received his Doctorate in 2008. His goals from the beginning were to work with athletes of all levels to help them overcome their injuries in the fastest way possible so they can return to doing what they love. “For someone who has had plenty of surgeries from sports injuries, knowing what I know now, a lot can be done to prevent these things,” he says. “Many injuries can be successfully treated without invasive procedures or prolonged treatment.”

Dr. Hapka is full body certified through Active Release Techniques (ART) to provide the best care to his patients for all their musculoskeletal conditions as well as certified though the Titleist Performance Institute as a Certified Golf Fitness Instructor.  Dr. Hapka has a passion for working on all athletes especially golfers and hockey players as those were two sports that he competed in at the collegiate level.  His knowledge in human movement, athletics and injury prevention make him a great asset for any aspiring athlete.
