Types Of Treatments That We Offer
Spinal and Joint Manipulation/Mobilization
Dr. Price uses manual manipulation. Manual manipulation is done with the hands versus an instrument. Manipulation is used on spinal segments and joints that are out of proper alignment and helps to improve mobility of joints.
Active Release Technique
ART® is a patented, state-of-the-art soft tissue movement-based technique that treats problems with muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia, and nerves.
Low Level/Cold Laser Therapy
Low Level Laser Therapy is a noninvasive, fast and effective modality that has been proven in clinical trial to reduce pain, reduce edema and promote healing. For more information, visit http://www.erchonia.com/faq.
PNF Muscle Stretching
Proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation is a technique that combines passive stretching and isometric stretching to achieve maximum static flexibility. PNF stretching can significantly increase flexibility faster than static stretching. Tight muscles are more prone to injury. PNF stretching can increase flexibility which can reduce biomechanical abnormalities that can lead to painful injuries.
Exercise and Rehabilitation
Physical rehabilitation is crucial to improving the strength, flexibility, and ROM following injury, surgery, or overused muscles.
Electromuscular Stimulation
Electrical muscle stimulation is the elicitation of muscle contraction to help control pain, decrease swelling, increase ROM, increase local blood circulation, and decrease muscle spasms.
Ultrasound
Ultrasound is a deep heating modality that is most effective in heating tissues of deep joints. It has been found to be helpful in improving the distensibility of connective tissue, which facilitates stretching.
Traction
Therapeutic spinal traction uses manual or mechanical forces to stretch the spine. Traction may alleviate back pain by stretching tight spinal muscles that result from spasm and relieve nerve impingement.
