Dr. Ryan Price provides customized therapy for the treatment and prevention of athletic injuries. As a Full Body/Masters Level Active Release Techniques provider, Dr. Price has in-depth training, education, and experience to treat recreational to elite athletes. This includes the spine, upper extremities, and lower extremities, which allows him to treat musculoskeletal injuries from head to toe.
Dr. Price earned his Bachelor's degree from Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas in 2000. While at Sam Houston State, he was a three-year letterman on the football team. Upon graduation, Dr. Price worked at The Cooper Institute for Aerobics Research, where he gained experience in weight management, nutrition, and exercise science.
After earning his Doctorate of Chiropractic in May of 2004 from Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas, he held associate positions in both medical and chiropractic offices. In 2006, he opened Premier Chiropractic of Southlake, which has been a staple for many athletes over the years in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Dr. Price has completed extensive continuing education and clinical work in the care and treatment of athletic injuries and management of physical fitness to become a Certified Chiropractic Sports Practitioner.
As an Active Release Techniques Provider and Instructor, Dr. Price is better able to serve and understand the needs of athletes and active individuals. While manipulation of the spine is a key component of treatment, stabilizing and strengthening the muscles is imperative in achieving peak results. Finding the root of dysfuntion is key in developing a plan of action for treating injuries and improving performance. Dr. Price hold certifications in Selective Functional Movement Assessment and The Functional Movement Screen.
